Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of ShareYourJourney.today (the “Service”), operated by an independent solo founder (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

ShareYourJourney.today lets you import your public GitHub contribution history, annotate milestone days with notes and arrows, and publish a customizable public journey profile along with embeddable widgets and an animated SVG card.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. The Service is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

You can sign in with a GitHub account or a passwordless email magic link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and GitHub account secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. One person or entity per account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

ShareYourJourney.today is offered as a one-time payment of $29 USD for lifetime ownership of your journey and its embeddable widgets. There is no recurring subscription. Prices are shown before checkout and may change for future purchases.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing us. After the refund window, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

“Lifetime” means for as long as the Service is reasonably operated. If the Service is permanently discontinued, we will make a reasonable effort to give advance notice and, where practical, a way to export your data.

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: upload unlawful, infringing, or misleading content; impersonate others or misrepresent your contribution history; attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, or reverse-engineer the Service; or use it to harass others or violate their rights.

You retain ownership of the notes and content you add. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service and rendering your public profile and widgets.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that GitHub data will always be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
